Democrat Exposes Biden’s SINISTER Tactics For All To See
(Survivaleagle.com) – Former Representative Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) has all but proven her unwillingness to throw America’s democracy under the bus in favor of her party. This week, the former congresswoman criticized the House Select Committee’s decision to find Steve Bannon guilty of Contempt of Congress. She attacked the ruling, calling it a problem, and accused the Biden administration of weaponizing the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Abuse of Power
Gabbard spoke with Newsweek’s Greta Van Susteren for the outlet’s “The Record.” She called the recent guilty verdict for Bannon, an ally of former President Trump, an example of how the DOJ is rapidly becoming a “political hit squad.” The former representative pointed out that others, both Republican and Democrats, have lied to Congress but were never actually charged with contempt for their falsehoods.
According to Gabbard, the DOJ goes after political opponents on behalf of those in charge of the country. With President Joe Biden in the White House, that currently means Democrats.
Trusting the Rule of Law
Gabbard also asserted that the American public needs to be able to trust institutions such as law enforcement agencies. She said these entities are currently acting in the best interest of “we the people” and noted that citizens need to believe authorities will treat them with fairness and equality under the law, no matter the circumstances.
Commenting on the application of law and how it helps create structure for the entire country, Gabbard cautioned that a “two-tiered” system of justice is a warning sign of a developing “authoritarian” government, which directly threatens American democracy. She dismissed the politicization of the DOJ as wholly wrong.
Gabbard admitted she hadn’t followed the January 6 Committee hearings, labeling them “made-for-TV” and declaring that it isn’t normal for House Republicans to lack the ability to pick their own committee members. She also took issue with the legal defense team being unable to cross-examine or reject witness testimony.
A Frightening Precedent
Many people, including Gabbard, believe President Biden is slowly transforming the DOJ into a political weapon capable of targeting Republicans. With the department’s actions regarding former President Trump and the January 6 incident in which his supporters stormed the Capitol, it isn’t hard to see why they feel that way.
The reality of such a development is that the party in power can use the DOJ as a way to stay in power, discrediting their political opponents to neutralize them. Is that what’s going on?
